Don E. Fleming

Don E. Fleming, 85, of Marion, OH, passed away in Columbus, OH, on May 15, 2025. He was born on November 19, 1939, to his late parents, John Glen Fleming and Octavia Halbert in Harlan Co., KY. Don would go on to marry his beloved wife, Reda Risner, on April 12, 1960, in Monks Corner, SC.

Don worked as a supervisor for UTLX for 20 years before retiring. He was an ordained minister and a Man of God. He was an avid member of the Free Will Baptist Church on Crissinger Rd. His church and his beliefs were the focus of his life, outside of his love for his family. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and free hand drawing.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, son Michael L. Fleming, grandson Nathan Fleming and numerous brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Reda Fleming, sons, Eric J. (Teresa) Fleming, and Danny (Brenda Harrison) Fleming, brothers, Jim Fleming, John David, sisters, Rosemary Wyant and Ferne Baxter, four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

The Fleming family would like to invite Don’s loved ones and family to join them at the Marion Cemetery for a graveside service on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 10 a.m.
