Donald Lee Eaton Jr., age 64, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on January 28, 2026, in Marion. He was born on September 2, 1961, in Marion, Ohio, to Donald Lee Eaton Sr. and Frances Marie Mories, both of whom preceded him in death.
Donald grew up in Marion and attended Marion Harding High School. On November 24,1987, he married the love of his life, Maria Therasa “Terie” Eaton (Piña), in Marion, and together they shared 38 years of marriage, building a life centered around family, love, and togetherness. Donald worked for almost 20 years as a general laborer with TODCO. He retired in 2021. In his free time, he enjoyed visiting the casino to play the slot machines and treasured a few memorable trips to Las Vegas for the ultimate gambling experience. He was a loyal Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan, often heard proudly cheering, “Go Bucks!” Bowling was one of Donald’s greatest passions. He loved the bowling alley so much that his children felt they practically grew up there, spending four to five nights a week surrounded by the sounds of rolling balls and crashing pins—often sleeping peacefully through it all as babies. Donald even joined multiple bowling leagues over the years. Known as a simple man who was never flashy, Donald was deeply proud of his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a doting grandfather who cherished every moment with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Mories.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Maria Therasa “Terie” Eaton (Piña); his sons, Donald Lee (Nikki) Eaton III and Joshua “Josh” Allen (Patty) Eaton; his brother, Samuel (Colleen) Mories; his sister, Sheila Eaton; and his grandchildren, Logan Eaton, Gabriella “Gabby” Eaton, Abbigail “Abby” Eaton, Lillian “Lily” Eaton, and Mason Eaton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
