Dorothy Mae Poole, age 84, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 6:10 PM in the Marion General Hospital. Se was born in Marion, Ohio on November 3, 1937 to the late George and Grace Spinks. Dorothy married James L. Poole Sr. on August 8, 1969 in Marion and he preceded her in death on August 22, 1987. She was a member of Elks Lodge 889 and was employed at Quaker Oats Co. for several years. She went on to work at Hill's Dept. Store until her retirement.

Dorothy is survived by a son, James L. (Jennifer) Poole Jr. of Marion, OH. and their kids, Nate Hedges, Jarred Keese, & Briana Coleman, two daughters, Ethel Poole of Toledo, OH. and her kids, James (Nicole) Myles & Kendrick (Shannon) Collins & daughter, Regina (Julio) Cintron of San Diego, CA., and their kids, Ashley, Jerry, Maria, Julian, & Alex Cintron, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces & nephews.

The family will host a "Celebration of Her Life" at a later date and location to be announced.
