Earnestine Cohagan Obituary
Earnestine W. (Turner) Cohagan age 78 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born May 26, 1940 in Marion, Ohio to the late Esty and Awanda (Runkle) Haycook.
On May 29, 1961 she married Lester Turner, he preceded her in death on January 30, 1986. On May 26, 1989 she married Richard T. Cohagan, he preceded her in death on December 9, 2017.
Earnestine was employed at the Marion City Courthouse as a clerk for many years and retired from Drypers. In her spare time, she loved playing BINGO.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Ken) Roszman of Marion and Melanie J. Turner of Marion, 7 grandchildren, Mark, David, Jesse, Dawn, Athena, Dustin and Ryan, numerous great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Beryl (Russell) Pyles of Marion, Violet Martin of Marion, formerly of Arizona, Sherry (Roger) Stapleton of Marion and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 12 - 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Kimberly McCown-Jones officiating. Burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
