Eva was a 1960 graduate of Harpster High School. She graduated with a laboratory technician certificate following high school. She retired after many years of service in home health care at Ohio Health.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ray and Roger Cramer, and her God-mother Corinne Ensminger. Eva is survived by her sons Matthew and Timothy Pollock, daughter JAmy Cramer, her granddaughters, Amber Pollock, Angelica Thomas, Lily Thomas, Gabrielle Thomas, Rowan Eblin, her Grandson Alex Thomas, and her great granddaughter Alayna Pollock. She is survived by her sisters; Evelyn Piatt, Cathy (John) Rostorfer, Sharon (Jim) Stump, and Jeanne Walker; her brothers; Ty (Bonnie) Cramer, Max (Billie) Cramer, and David (LeAnn) Cramer, and numerous nieces, nephews, and numerous adopted sons, daughters, and grandchildren. She is survived in death by her lifelong friend, Naomi, and her son Tom Beckel.
Eva was known as Oma to every child she interacted with. She was a grandmother, sister, friend, mother, and prayer warrior to too many people to mention during her 82 years on earth.
Eva attended Calvary Baptist Church, in Bucyrus, with her family growing up. As an adult she attended Manna Ministries. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, serving as a Worthy Matron. She volunteered for the Salvation Army with their Home League and served meals for their advisory board for many years. She shared the world of God through ministry at nursing homes and to the elderly unable to attend worship services outside of their homes. Eva was an avid worshiper of God and was always the first call to say a prayer for anyone in need.
Calling hours will be held from 9 to 10 in the morning on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Boyd Funeral Home. Lunch will follow immediately after calling hours at Berean Baptist Church. Eva’s final resting place will be The Marion Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Manna Ministries or Vera Chapter Order of the Eastern Stars in Eva’s honor.
