Fannie Louise Fantin, age 83 of Prospect, passed away unexpectedly at Marion General Hospital on Friday, November 10, 2023.
Fannie was born on May 24, 1940 to the late Ivon and Phyllis Laulaff in Butler, Pennsylvania. On November 2, 1963, she married “Tom” Fantin in Cedar Lake, Indiana.
Fannie was the All-American outstanding singer, the luckiest at pull-tabs, the little blue car that would sit in the McDonald's parking lot and feed all the birds 2 or 3 times a day, fadt food junkie, a grandma to three amazing boys, a funny and outgoing friend, the nosy neighbor that has an unlimited amount of kittens and cats, a true Meijers customer and a firecracker of a wife. Fannie will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Fannie was preceded in death by her parents; her five sisters at birth and two brothers, Paul Skutt and Mike Laulaff.
Those who will cherish Fannie’s memories include her husband of 60 years, Tom Fantin of Prospect, Ohio; her daughter, Gina Vanbuskirk of Richwood, Ohio; and her grandsons: Brandon, Ethan and Jordan Vanbuskirk.
Friends and family may come to honor her life from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Boyd Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm at the funeral home.
