Floella Hall, age 78 of Marion, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Fairhaven Community. She was born on December 19, 1942 in Hartley, Kentucky, to Charlie Burke and Nettie (Tackett) Belt.
Flo was one of the first bus drivers for Marion City Schools. She retired from MCS after 30 years of service. She enjoyed Bingo, spending time with family, going to bluegrass festivals, and watching races at Mid Ohio. She attended Marion Enterprise Baptist Church.
Flo is survived by her children Greg (Bev) Hall, Byhalia, MS, and Gina (Mark) Faulkner, Marion. She also leaves grandchildren Brittany (Austin) Massie, Marion; Brandon (Jamie) Rutter, Delaware; Jeremy Hall, Columbus; Aaron (Brandon) Hall, MI; Abigail Hall and Kelsi Oberg, MN; and Keanan (Amber) Hall, Fort Carson, CO. Great-grandchildren include Randy Rutter, Delaware; Grayson Patton and Aiden Massie, Marion; Rylin and Brooklyn Oberg, MN; and Weston and Madison Hall, Fort Carson, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Burke and Nettie Belt, her sister Avalene “Dee” Kuhn, and great-granddaughter Adalynn Patton.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery.
