Forest Dean Lee

Forest Dean Lee, age 93 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his residence.

Forest was born on September 3, 1928, to the late Clyde Mallernee and Eva Anna (Dunlap) Lee in Bowerston, Ohio.  On May 7, 1955, he married Carole Swann in Cadiz, Ohio

Forest served our country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954.  He worked at GTE for around 31 years and was a member of the Richland Road Church of Christ.  He will be truly missed by family and friends.

Forest was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Eva Lee.

Those who will cherish Forest’s memory include his wife of 66 years, Carole (Swann) Lee of Marion, Ohio; his sons: Tim Lee and Robert Lee, both of Atlanta, Georgia and Greg (Beth) Lee of Marion, Ohio; his four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Friends and family may come for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:30am at the Richland Road Church of Christ, 535 Richland Road, Marion, Ohio 43302.  Donations may be given in Forest’s memory to: The Marion Area Humane Society, 2264 Richland Road, Marion, Ohio 43302.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Lee family.
