Frederick Thompson Baldwin, Jr.

Fred T. Baldwin Jr., age 64 of Upper Sandusky, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2020 at his residence in Upper Sandusky. On November 24,1956, he was born to Frederick Thompson Baldwin, Sr. and the late Violet Joyce (Long) Baldwin.  He married his late beloved wife, Ruth Baldwin, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Fred enjoyed attending church with his wife at the Open Bible Enterprise Baptist Church. He also enjoyed helping remodel around the house and working on cars with Ruth. In their younger years, they would often enjoy going on motorcycle rides together. In his younger years he built overhead doors and was plant manager for years before becoming a truck driver and enjoyed the open road for over 20 years. He was a Nascar fan, he loved music, a good laugh and was a classic\muscle car enthusiast .

Fred loved his dogs, but to him and Ruth, family was the most important thing in life.

He was preceded in death by his mother Violet and wife Ruth.

Fred is survived by his father, Fred Sr.; son, Frederick Richard (Shannon) Baldwin; sisters, Lula (Randell) Schoenberger of Upper Sandusky, OH and Betty Anderson of Fredericktown, OH, and grandchildren, Aryanna Baldwin and Malachi Baldwin.

Visitation will be held at the Open Bible Enterprise Baptist Church on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 10a.m. - 12 p.m. The funeral service will follow the visitation with Rev. Delmar Marks officiating the service. The graveside service will be held at the Otterbein Cemetery in Prospect, OH.  Please adhere to the COVID-19 restrictions mandated by the governor for your safety and the safety of the family.
