Gifford "Eddie" Edward Howard

Gifford “Eddie” Edward Howard, age 58. Of Richwood, passed away at his house on July 17, 2021. On January 16, 1963, he was born to the late Gifford and Beatrice (Brown) Howard. He married his beloved late wife Pamela Jo Gibson on March 7, 1991.

Gifford was a man a God and enjoyed showing his love of our creator through music. He played the guitar and sang gospel music in his family’s traveling singing group “The Joyful Sound.” Along with that he enjoyed being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren. Gifford enjoyed fishing and watching his Ohio State Buckeyes play football.

Gifford is survived by his sons Curtis Vansickle of South Shores, KY and Robert (Danielle) Van Edward Howard of Marion. Daughter, Sara r. (Bruce) Van Brimmer of Radnor, OH. sisters: Patricia Howard of Marion, Anna Shears, of Dublin, Kama Roberts of Marysville, and Sue Campbell of Marion and his grandchildren, Jordan, Josh, Andrew, Casey, Brady, Pammy, Oren, Kelsea, Kaydence, Ethan and Eli.

Friends and Family may call Friday from 5pm until 7pm at the Open Bible Baptist Church with. The funeral will take place on Saturday July24, 2021 at 10am at the church as well with Pastor Delmar Marks officiating. The committal service will take place immediately following the funeral at the Grand Prairie Cemetery. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Family of Mr. Howard in these trying times.
