Glenna Jean Dorfe

Glenna Jean Dorfe, age 81 of Marion, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Legacy of Marion.

Glenna was born on March 31, 1942 to the late Harold and Carrie (Rodgers) Dorfe in Marion, Ohio.

She will be missed by family and friends.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kim and her sister, Marlene Kelly.

Those who will cherish her memories include her sons: Daryl (Wendy) Nickelson, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona and Jason Nickelson of Phoenix, Arizona; her brothers: Harry “Pete” Dorfe of Marion, Ohio, Robert (Mary) Dorfe of Zanesville, Ohio and John (Jackie) Dorfe of Washingtonboro, Pennsylvania; her sisters: Betty Jane (Walt) Dorfe-McCafferty of Marion, Ohio, Nancy (Hobert) Addis of Caledonia, Ohio and Lois Eaton of Marion, Ohio and her several grandchildren.

Friends and family may come to honor her life from 12pm to 1pm at Boyd Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm at the funeral home.  A burial will follow the funeral service at the Marion Cemetery.  Donations may given in her memory to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Dorfe family.
