Gregory Alan Cook

Gregory Alan “Greg” Cook, of Marion, Ohio age 60 passed away on Friday September 3, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. Greg was born to the late Eugene and Rose Mary (Litell) Cook on August 2, 1961 in Marion, Ohio.

Greg enjoyed playing golf and cornhole but was considered a “Shark” on the pool tables. Greg loved classic rock, and he would be the one you wanted to have on your trivia team to answer all of the classic rock questions. He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes and cheered on the football team every Saturday. He loved his Border Collie,  Rielley “Boots,” riding his motorcycle and going on vacations with his friends. Those who knew and loved him grew to appreciate his sarcastic and quick-witted sense of humor.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, and close friend Ed Caudill.

Greg is survived by wife, Jennifer; daughter,  Samantha Cook; son, Dustin Blevins; brother, Eugene L. Cook Jr.; granddaughter, Raelyn; and  friends, Jerry Norris, Lisa Norris, Mike (Margaret) Hughes, Joe (Jennifer) Dranshack, Larry (Sherri) Howell and Dave (Dee) Crosley.

Friends and family may call September 8, 2021, at the Boyd Funeral Home from the hours of 5pm until 8pm. Any donations can be made to the family. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Cook family in their time of need.
