Inez Tackett

    Inez (Nolan) Tackett, 89, of Marion, OH passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. Inez was born to the late Albert and Sabeary (Burkhart) Nolan on
November 7, 1934, in Verda, KY. On June 19, 1976, Inez married the love of her life Clay F. Tackett and the two were married until his passing on July 26, 2003. Inez was a nursing assistant for Med Center Hospital for 25 years.

    She was a God-fearing woman and proud member of the White Oaks Road, Freewill Baptist Church. The lord was a big part of Inez’s life. Inez could be described as a strong, outspoken, and kind woman that loved to volunteer. Inez also took great pride in keeping a clean house. She was very family oriented and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as much as possible.

    Inez is preceded in death by son Franklin Dewayne Skidmore, brother Roy Nolan and sister Colleen Wilson.
   

    Inez is survived by children, Patricia (Ron) Blevins of LaRue, OH. Nichole (David) Reed of Florida, grandchildren Christopher (Betsy) Abbott Jr. of Marion, OH. Kellie Abbott of Marion, OH. Kathleen and Meena Reed of Florida, great grandchildren, Alexzndrea (Troy) Walker-Clark, Ayden Hoy, Jacob Walker and Ella Abbott, and great great grandchildren Wyatt Clark, siblings
Bonnie (Hub) Dean, of KY., Merita Mckenzie of NC., and Bob (Frankie) Nolan of TN., along with numerous nieces and nephews.

    Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation of Inez Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Boyd Funeral Home from the hours of 11am until 1pm. The funeral service for Inez will start at 1pm with Pastor Kiper officiating. The committal service will be taking place at the Iberia Cemetery follow the procession from the graveside. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Inez Tackett in their time of mourning.
