Jack Ray Shadd

Jack Ray Shadd, age 90, passed away at Marion General Hospital on the evening of December 16, 2024. He was born in New Boston, Ohio, to the late Frank and Mary Jane (Douglas) Shadd in 1934. He went on to marry his wife, Eileen Susan Shadd, in 1967, and they had over 50 years together before her passing in 2019. Jack was an avid guitar player, enjoying all varieties of the instrument. With his passion for the guitar, it was no wonder his favorite musician was Chet Atkins. He loved watching boxing and was known to have backyard sparring matches any chance he could. He was a member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse of Prayer for many years with his wife.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary, his wife, Eileen, his brother, and his five sisters.

He leaves behind many loved ones.
