Jamie Allen Gibson

Jamie Allen Gibson, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, May 11, 2026. Jamie was born on September 19, 1973, to Charles and Virginia Gibson, the second of three sons.

Jamie graduated from Harding High School with the class of 1991. Jamie was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Jamie also loved to shoot pool and was in a league with his two brothers, a nephew, and two close friends. They went to the state pool championships several different times, with the last one being in 2023. As a teenager, Jamie had a Honda trail 70 trailbike that he enjoyed tremendously. Jamie also enjoyed many happy summers in his parents’ backyard pool with family and friends.

Jamie is survived by his two brothers; Joe Gibson and Jeff (Misty) Gibson, his nephews, Jeffrey B. Gibson, Michael J. Gibson, Jason A Gibson, Jon D. Lower, and great-nephews; Jayden B. Gibson, J. Mason Lower, and lots of cousins and several special close friends.

Jamie is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There will be a gathering at the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 12 to 1 p.m. There will be a procession to the Grand Prairie Cemetery where a graveside service.
