Jane Porter

Jane Elizabeth Porter, age 97 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Signature Healthcare in Galion, Ohio. She was born on January 18, 1924 to the late Fred and Enid (Pickerel) Yost.

Jane was a proud homemaker who took care of her family and a longtime member of Fairpark Baptist Church.

She married her husband John Porter on August 15, 1946, and they had two sons, Jack (Margaret) Porter of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jeffrey Porter of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her husband John, her twin brother Paul, two brothers, and two sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 10 am to 11 am at the Boyd Funeral Home with services to follow at 11 am. Burial will take place at Waldo Cemetery.
