Janice Louise (Baker) Pelfrey

Janice Louise (Baker) Pelfrey, age 70, went to walk with the lord on May 2, 2025. Born February 2, 1955, in Marion, Ohio to the late Donald and Myrna Baker. Janice is a graduate of Marion Harding and worked for over 10 years as a manager for the Marion Regal Cinema.

Janice was a Devout Christian that put her family above all. She was a hard worker, and this reputation followed her throughout her life. Janice loved family game night and cooking as well as trying new things and exploring new places.

Janice is survived by daughters, April and Jennifer Pelfrey, and grandchildren, Natalie Ocampo, Xavier Pelfrey, Wyatt McGinniss, Anakin Neville, and Fassler.

Janice now joins her Parents in heaven.

The closed casket visitation for Janice will be held Monday, May 12, 2025, from 10am until 12pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 12pm at the Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Freshour officiating. The Boyd Funeral home is happy to be assisting the family of Janice Pelfrey in their time of need. Janice may be gone but will never be forgotten.
