Jeffrey L. Beveridge, age 68 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Marion General Hospital. On January 4, 1956, he was born in Marion to Darlene (Denton) and the late Roger Beveridge, and on May 17, 1980, he married the love of his life, Deb (Pine).
Jeff retired from his position as a dispatcher for Marion County after 29 and a half years of service. He loved bowling and participated in many leagues over the years, and he also enjoyed working in his yard, as well as collecting baseball cards, coins, and watches. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Reds, and the Columbus Blue Jackets, and an even bigger fan of Jimmy Buffett. He and his wife loved to travel to Sanibel Island in Florida, where some of their fondest memories took place.
He is survived by his wife Deb Beveridge; his mother Darlene Beveridge; his brother Doug (Dawn) Beveridge; his brother-in-law Dean (Barb) Pine; his nephews Captain Ryan Beveridge and Kyle Beveridge; his niece Staci (Zach) Bond; his great-niece Lauren Bond; and his great-nephew Logan Bond.
He was preceded in death by his father Roger Beveridge and his mother-in-law Rita Brutchey.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place at 12 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
