Jeremy Robert Higgins

Jeremy Robert Higgins, age 54, passed away on January 28, 2026. He was born on November
23, 1971, in Marion, to Jerry Higgins and Diane (Kenyon) Hipsher.
Known to friends as “Droop,” Jeremy was a 1990 graduate of Marion Harding High School. He
spent many years working at Tubby’s Pizza, where he was known for his strong work ethic and
reliability.
Jeremy enjoyed fishing and was a proud member of the American Legion Post 584. He also
loved vacationing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, a place he truly loved. In his downtime, Jeremy
enjoyed listening to country music and was a devoted sports fan, proudly supporting the
Michigan Wolverines, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New York Yankees.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Hester “Peg” Higgins, and
William “Bill” and Beulah Kenyon.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Jerry Higgins and Diane Hipsher; his son, Dylan Higgins; his
long-time partner, Kristine Eastridge; his brother, Brad (Traci) Higgins; his sister, Kali (Josh)
Stage; his nieces, Addisyn, Emmalyn, and Madilyn; and his nephews, Ryne and Bryson.
The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Jeremy Robert Higgins during
this time of mourning. The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate Jeremy’s life,
reflecting on the memories he leaves behind.
