Jodi Kay Holsinger age, 64, of Edisto Island, SC., passed away at her residence on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Jodi was born to the late Joseph and Leverne (Blevins) Holsinger on October 8, 2025, in Marion, OH. Jodi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Jodi Holsinger lived her life offering love with open arms and no conditions. She was a mother to many, to her daughter, her many bonus children, and to the patients she cared for when they needed it most. Jodi was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her calling to be Christlike and do good in the world led her to a 40-year career in nursing, over half that time spent caring for infants in the Neonatal ICU.
Her passion for healing the sick and dedication to the church was matched only by her creativity and joy for life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Jodi leaves behind a daughter, Sariah Holsinger and daughter-in-law, Nia Holsinger; a husband, Michael Stephenson; five bonus children: Tammy, Christina, AprilLynn, Nathaniel, and Gabrielle; eight grandkids, Nicholae, Abigail, Carleigh, Aden, Izzy, Lily, and Charlie and Jerycho; three nephews and two nieces, Spencer, Alex, Monica, Go, and Quentin; and her cousins, Lee, Bob and Paula.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Holsinger and Laverne Kay Blevins.
Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation for Jodi on July 3. 2025 from 11a until 1p at the Boyd Funeral Home, with the Funeral Service starting at 1p with Pastor Joe Harrison officiating. The committal service will be taking place immediately following the funeral procession to Grand Prairie Cemetery. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Jodi Kay Holsinger in their time of mourning.
