Obituary
Joe E. Oehlers, age 67, of Marion passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 3:32 PM in the Presidential Post Acute living facility. He was born in Marion, Ohio on August 8, 1955 to the late John and Bettye Jane (Head) Oehlers Sr. Joe was employed for several years with the Bob Evans Restaurant and he also kept busy mowing lawns in the Marion area. Joe is survived by a brother, Jack (Joyce) Oehlers of Upper Sandusky, OH., two sisters, Jane Severns of Marion, OH. & Judy Smith of Saginaw, MI. OH. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim & John Oehlers & Jerry Taylor.
Friends may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Chaplin Brad Gee will conduct a graveside service on Friday at 1:30 PM in the Marion Cemetery. Contributions may be given to Tranquility Hospice in Joe’s name.
