John David Hollenbach, age 49 of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his residence.

John was born on January 6, 1974 to David and Jean (Chard) Hollenbach in Marion, Ohio. On March 16, 2018, he married Viva Gattshall.

He worked as an Overhead Scrap Crane Operator for 15 years at Nucor. John loved watching the Cleveland Browns. He will truly be missed by family and friends.

Those who will cherish his memories include his parents, David and Jean Hollenbach of Marion, Ohio; his wife, Viva Hollenbach of Marion, Ohio; his sons: Morgan (Bree) Hollenbach of Mansfield, Ohio and Richard (Shauna) Hollenbach of Marion, Ohio; his sister, Lorri (Matt) Hollenbach-Ross of Marion, Ohio and his grandchild, Bella Rose Hollenbach.

There will be no services. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hollenbach family.
