John R. LeVeck

     John R. LeVeck, 59, of Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, Thursday, the 23rd of September, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. John was born October 27, 1961 at Marion General Hospital to Jean and John W. LeVeck of Marion. He married Kathrine L. Casteel on July 26th, 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife.

     John worked at Forum Manufacturing in Milford Center, Ohio as a cabinet maker for many years. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and grandchildren as well as gardening, fishing, woodworking, sporting events, and auto racing. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan.

     He is survived by: his loving sister, Joyce A. LeVeck of Marion, OH., son, Alex LeVeck of Marion, OH., daughter, Allison LeVeck (Mark) of South Carolina,

  • Ben Hirneise & Rachael Barchus of Marion, OH. (Kaiden & Maddox)
•  Mother-in-law, Nancy Casteel and many Cousins.

     Graveside services will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John’s honor to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA).
