John David Weaver

     John David Weaver, 66, of Marion, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 7:03 PM at his residence. He was born in Marion on October 1, 1957 to the late Dwight Shifflet and Joyce Weaver. John married the former Deborah Reed on January 31, 1974 in Kentucky and she survives. John graduated from Elgin High School. He was a self-employed entrepreneur, master of many trades, before his retirement.

     Along with his wife, John is survived by 4 sons, Sowell (Tiffany) Weaver of Delaware, OH., John (Tammy) Weaver, Alphonzo (Vicki) Weaver, & J.D. Weaver all of Marion, OH., 5 daughters, Rebecca (Robert) Driskel, Dawn (Paul Douglas) Weaver, Danielle Weaver, Michelle (Randy) Thomas all of Marion, OH., & Jennifer (Matthew) Darst of Cardington, OH., a brother, Kenneth “Bill” Pfleider of Marion, OH., 3 sisters, Ruth Jordan, Mary (Jerry) Mitchell of Marion, OH., & K. Marie Balis of Mt. Gilead, OH., 29 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Andrew Weaver, 1 daughter, & 1 grand daughter.

     Friends may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM in the Byhalia Cemetery following the visitation.
