Karen Lee Hawkins Clark, of Marion, passed away at her home on April 10, 2026. Karen was born in Marion, Ohio to the late George Harold and Dorothy Irene Hawkins. Karen worked a variety of jobs including working at Verizon until it closed, and at Motor Mart and even worked as a driving instructor at Ault’s Driver Education. Where she had the pleasure of instructing generations of driving students.
Karen received her associates degree from Marion Technical College. Karen loved sewing, spending time with her family, gardening, birdwatching and watching game shows.
Left to cherish the memory of Karen are daughters, Lisa (Aaron) Cudd and Janice (Anthony) Hill, son, Nathan (Casey) Clark, brothers, Wayne (Linda) Hawkins, and twin Keith(Gloria) Hawkins, grandchildren, Mathew(Courtney) and Bradly(Jazmyne) Cudd, Cruz (Marcy) Basinger, Samuel Clark, Alissha (Brandon) Spitzer and Memfis Blair, great grandsons, Nicholas and Christopher Spitzer, and great granddaughters, Skye Rivers, Lakelyne Hazelwood, Rowynn Schultz. Nephews Greg Hawkins, Bryan Hawkins, Steve(Jackie) Hawkins, Mike Hawkins.
Preceding her in death is sister-in-law Joan Hawkins.
Family and friends are called to the visitation of Karen on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 10am until 12pm. The funeral service for Karen will take place immediately following the visitation with Pastor Kent Spann officiating. The committal service will be taking place at the Marion Cemetery following the funeral procession. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Karen Lee Hawkins Clark in their time of mourning.
