Kathi L. Ritchie

Kathi L. Ritchie (Boswell), age 70, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Mt. Carmel Hospital in Grove City, OH. Kathi was born in Ohio, on December 6, 1954, to her late parents, Charles Boswell and Naomi DeVore. In Green Camp, OH on October 19, 1995, Kathi married the love of her life, Richard “Gene” Ritchie.

Kathi worked as an assistant manager at Goodwill for 7 plus years before retiring. Besides work, she loved her family dearly. She enjoyed hosting every holiday for them and always loved making it down to West Virginia for family reunions. She also adored her grandkids and attended every activity they were involved in. In her free time, she liked to sew, quilt and do other crafts that interested her. Kathi was a firecracker and loved to talk to people. She never knew a stranger and treated everyone like her friend.

Kathi is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mark Adams, great grandchild, Cayson, and her brother, Marshall (Becky) Boswell and Glenn Boswell.

She leaves her memories and love to her husband, siblings; Beverly Gamble and David (Lynne) Boswell, children; Jason (Lyndsey) Adams, Brad (Dannielle) Ritchie, Laurie (Brad) Ritchie-Wells, and Scott (Vickie) Ritchie, grandchildren; Josh, Brittany, Jacob, Cole, Kyle, Cody, Joelle, Caleb, Brooke, Gracie, Kassidy, Corbin, and Claudia, her great grandchildren; Bexleigh, Joel, Cora, Theo, Kamdyn, Beckett, Brynleigh, Wrenlee, and one soon to be born great granddaughter, Charlotte.

The Ritchie family would like to invite Kathi’s loved ones and family to join them for calling hours on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Boyd Funeral Home from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Boyd Funeral Home at 10 a.m. There will be an interment service immediately following the funeral service at the Caledonia Cemetery. Pastor Joe Harrison will be officiating all services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the Ronald McDonald House Foundation in Kathi’s honor.
