Keith Ray Stanley, II, 59, Marion, OH, passed away in the comfort and care of the Avita Galion Hospital. His late parents, Keith Ray Stanley and Sally Anne (Stewart) Stanley, welcomed him into the world on October 2, 1966, in Marion, Ohio. Later, Keith found the love of his life, Lori (Trent) Stanley, after getting married on January 27, 1984, in Canandaigua, New York. They spent 42 loving years together.
Keith was a hard-working man who began his lifelong enthusiasm for the restaurant business working for Western Sizzlin’ here in Marion. This began his rise through the ranks in the restaurant industry, culminating in a district management role with the Compass Group for several years. His last venture in the food industry was running his own food truck and catering business, “Chef Shack”, for the past six years, with one of his good friends and business partner, Adam Harms.
When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed cooking, being active and being outdoors. Keith was known to be a fearless adventurer, always living life to its fullest. After working a full week, he would grab his nearest family members and head out to the next adventure. He also loved golfing and riding motorcycles. He spent as much time as he could with his family and friends, and adored his grandkids, who loved their “Papa”. Keith was a level-headed man that always seemed to make friends with everybody. He touched so many lives and often became a mentor to the people he worked with.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents.
His memory lives on through his wife, Lori Stanley, daughters; Courtney (Jacob Nelson) Tennity, Kali-Anne (Dillon) Rademacher, and Kemie McGary, sisters; Penny (Tim) Fogle, Jill (Bernie) Bauer, and Teri Stanley, grandchildren; Cullen, Logan, Taylor, Jacob, Darren, Payton, Kaddalyn, and Anakin, and two of his brothers-in-law and best friends, Mark (Lisa) and Andy (Lynn) along with all of his loving family.
The Stanley family would like to invite all who knew Keith to join them at the Boyd Funeral Home for calling hours on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. immediately following the calling hours. Brother-in-law, Andy Weissend, will be officiating the service. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be able to help the Stanley family in their time of need.
