Krista Louise Buckner

Krista Louise Buckner, age 59, Beautiful life was cut short unexpectedly at her home on Monday, May 26, 2025. Krista was born on February 13, 1966 in Marion OH, of the late Joe Wayne and Norma Jean (Sherer) Kinder.

  Krista had a beautiful soul who was so proud to be a mother and grandmother. She loved being surrounded by family. Krista was known for her ability to light up any room she was in and bringing joy to everyone around her. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking a variety of dishes for family and friends. Krista was a go getter, was always positive and willing to help those in need. She was fun, outgoing, spontaneous, creative, smart and just beautiful. Her love of music was known by many, for you would find her singing all the time and simply bringing a smile to your face. 

 Krista is survived by living son Dylon (Brittany) Buckner and daughter-in-law Chelsea Buckner, brothers James and Gordy Kinder, sister April (Tom) Witten and grandchildren, Tilden, Ryleigh, Braylon, Gracie, and Alaya. Krista is proceeded in death by parents Joe Wayne and Norma Jean Kinder, sister Terri Jo Kinder and sons Joseph James Buckner and Eric Michael.

  Friends and family are called to the visitation of Krista Buckner, on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 12pm through 2pm with the funeral service taking place at 2pm at the Boyd’s Funeral Home. Pastor Joe Harrison will be officiating the funeral. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's Hospital. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Krista Louise Buckner in their time of mourning.
