Larry K. Parker

     Larry K. Parker, age 80, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2:10 PM at his residence. He was born on September 13, 1943 in Ripley, West Virginia to the late James E. and Madelyn K. (Scarberry) Parker. Larry is survived by 4 sons, Larry K. Parker Jr. of Marysville, OH., Gary Parker of Marion, OH., Leonard Parker of Marion, OH., & Darrelle Port of Marion, OH., 2 daughters, Terri Hamm and Linda Port both of Marion, OH., a brother, Roger Parker of Columbus, OH., 2 sisters, Joyce Mitchell of Ripley, W.VA. and Janie Bailey of Charleston, W.VA., 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Larry was preceded in death by 2  sisters, Judy Harter & Juanita Lee.

     Larry was employed for many years with the Marion Power Shovel Co. before his retiring in 1986. There will be no visiting hours or funeral service announced at this time. Burial will be at a later date.
