Laureen Michelle Postell

Laureen Michelle Postell, age 55 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Laurie was born on March 19, 1966, to the late Larry and Suzanne (Beery) Postell in Marion, Ohio.

Laurie graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1985.  Laurie worked for McDonald’s corporation all the way from a crew member until reaching store manager, and even winning the Ray Kroc award.  Rick and Laurie enjoyed going to the lakes on the weekends.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

Laurie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lisa Mae Howard.

Laurie is survived by her life partner of 35 years, Rick Davis of Marion, Ohio; her daughter Ashley Knapp of Marion, Ohio.  She found great joy in her grandchildren, Madilyn Michelle Honaker, Wesley Allan Honaker and Gracelyn Mae Honaker; her three special nephews, Bryan, Brandon and Brock all of Marion, Ohio.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 12pm at the Marion Cemetery. Donations may be given in Laurie’s memory to the American Cancer Society or to Heartland Hospice.. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
