Lloyd Hall

Lloyd Hall, age 89 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on May 5, 2020 at his home.  He was born February 11, 1931 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Bill and Sarah Jane (Holbrook) Hall.  He married Vera Lou Smith on August 10, 1954 in Clintwood, Virginia.  To this union was born 5 children.

 Lloyd is survived by two daughters, Judy Wicker of Flatwoods, KY and Sheila (Dennis) Morrison of Marion; five grandchildren, Kristina Sturgell of Waverly, OH, Adam Strugell of Kenton, OH, Keith Hall of Marion, OH, Jeffrey (Amber) Hall of Marion, OH, and Robert Hall of Marion, OH; two great grandsons, Leeland Lloyd Hall and Bently Scott Hall of Marion, OH; six sisters, Ruth Belford, Ethel (Tollie) Gamble and Jean Seiter all of Marion, Mary Ann Romeo of Myrtle Beach, SC, Joan (Bill) Peacher of Murray, Utah, and Mona (Wayne) Knights of Alexandria, Virginia; and brother, Bill, Jr. (Veronica) Hall of Jeffersonville, KY, and his special friend and fiancé for 17 years, Georgene Johnson. 

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Sarah Jane Hall; his wife, Vera Lou Hall, three children, Jerry Lynn Hall, Lloyd Timothy Hall, and Johna Louise Sturgell, three brothers, Cleveland, Estill, and Evin Hall, and sister, Estie Williams

Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2020 from 2-5pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with only 10 people allowed in the building at a time.  A graveside side service will be held at the Caledonia Cemetery on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 11:00am.  Social distancing, limited gathering and the wearing of masks is encouraged during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
