Lonnie Francis Foster, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 3, 2022, in the comfort of his home following a recent hospital stay due to complications from a medical procedure. He was born on November 18, 1960 in Marion, Ohio to Kay Foster who survives in Marion. Lonnie didn't know a stranger and would help anyone. He was the bicycle machanic to the neighborhood kids. Volunteering his time at the local Salvation Army, especially around the holidays. He will be truly missed by the family and friends he leaves behind. In addition to his mother, Lonnie is survived by his daughter Heather Foster, sister Hope Foster (Carl Siedel), niece Brittany Severt, Grandsons Jarryn Mustard and Cole Foster, along with his Aunt Judy, Uncles Ike, Bill, Rick and Darrell, many cousins, and great nieces Regan and Madi. Lonnie was preceded in death by his son Steven Foster, brother Robert Foster, Grandfather Charles Foster, Grandmother Catherine Postell, and Uncle Charles (Chuck) Foster Jr. Lonnie was a loyal Cincinnati Bengals and OSU fan. Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. hosted by Boyd Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 PM until service time. Captain Price will be officiating the service. Interment will be held at a later date in the LaRue Cemetery.
