Loraine "Fay" Saylor

Loraine Fay Saylor passed away at her home on Monday, June 6, 2022, in Marion.

She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on August 12, 1957, to Robert Gene Poland and Ella M. (Judd) Fergus, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her sister Betty K. Frantz.

Fay was married to Robert I. Saylor on December 17, 1993, and he survives her, along with sons Chris (Tara) Coppler and Nathan (Martha) Saylor; daughters Lisa Coppler and Beth (Frank) Miller; 9 grandchildren, including her grandson Robert Mazzolini, over whom she had guardianship; her sister Bertha Kauffman; two nephews; her mother-in-law, 105-year-old Mayble Mozell Saylor; sister-in-law Becky (Lawrence) Sharp; and her dear friend of 50+ years, Shirley Stiles.

Fay enjoyed bingo, bowling, and crafting.  She will truly be missed by family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 11 am at Morral United Methodist Church, 206 W. Neff St., Morral.  A meal will follow the service at the church, and then guests may head to Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima for the burial. Donations may be given in Fay’s memory to Morral United Methodist Church.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Saylor family.
