Loreda (Keeton) Brown

Loreda Brown, 86 of Marion, went to be with Her Heavenly Father on October 23, 2025, peacefully at her Residence. Born March 16, 1939, in Morgan County Kentucky to Rev Noah Keeton Sr and Alma Litteral Keeton, both preceding Her in Death.

 Loreda is preceded in Death by her husband of over 50 years James M Brown with His passing July of this year. Together they enjoyed attending a vast array of events from music concerts to festivals and Auctions. Loreda and James were long-time members and enjoyed going to the Marion Moose Lodge often.

Loreda took great pride in her long career in local manufacturing, having worked at Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky, Tecumseh Marion, Marion Power Shovel and finally retiring from her longest employer, Whirlpool Corporation Marion.

Loreda enjoyed making crafts, sewing with crocheting becoming a passion for her. She created many beautiful pieces investing much time and thought into each piece.

Loreda Is survived by her four children, Steve (Carlene) Dailey, Marion, Ohio, Diana Dailey, Mt Gilead Ohio, Jean Ann Damron, Richwood Ohio and Kristine Dailey of Lancaster Ohio, Seven Granddaughters and Four Grandsons and many great and great great grandchildren.

Loreda will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Marion, OH., with a Graveside Service, under the direction of Fr. Ed Shikina. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Loreda Brown in their time of mourning.
