Loretta Rae King

Loretta Rae King, age 81 of Marion, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at her residence surrounded by loving family.

Loretta was born on October 18, 1939 to the late Lora Norris and Maycel Yvonne (Miller) Haught in Roane County, West Virginia.  On June 12, 1958, she married her high school sweetheart James Robert King.

Loretta was a STNA for 48 years and an Activities Director for 8 years at different nursing homes. She loved kids of all ages and spending time with family and friends.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James Robert King; her son-in-law: Randy Hudson and her brothers: Robert Haught and Larry Haught. 

Those who will cherish her memories include her daughter: Linda Hudson of Marion, OH; her son: James (Jeanette) King of LaRue, OH; her seven grandchildren: Sarah Hoskins, Joshua (Rachel Thacker) Hoskins, Daniel Hoskins, Trent (Alexis Hennessy) King, Tiffany (Vacaro Bracy) King, Zeke (Autumn Monk) King, Brittany (Solomon Enti) King; and nine great grandchildren. 

No services will be held. Burial will take place at a later date at the Fairview Cemetery in LaRue, Ohio. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the King family.
