Mark Joseph Daniels

Mark Joseph Daniels, age 72, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, December 23, 2024. Mark was born August 26, 1952, in Kansas to the late Loren and Josephine (Coffey) Daniels. Mark graduated from The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Mark worked as a Financial Analyst for over 30 years.

Mark married his first love, Julie Ralston, in Marion at the Nazarene Church on July 19, 2001. Mark attended Daysprings Wesleyan Church and enjoyed attending the male bible studies. Mark was a very frugal and an excellent money manager. Being an Ohio State grad, he was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes football fan.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, step-daughter, Julie Ann Gould, and sister Dee Miller.

Mark is survived by his wife, Julie, son, Mathew (Stephenie) Daniels, daughter, Jennifer Lynn Harris, step-daughter, Jennifer Lynn Giberson, sister Karen (Doug) Long, grandson, Preston Daniels, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family are invited to attend the visitation for Mark on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 5p until 7p at the Boyd Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be taking place the following day, January 3, 2025, at Dayspring Wesleyan Church at 11a with Pastor Osborne Officiating. The committal service will immediately follow the funeral service at the Marion Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Mark’s Honor to either the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
