Mary Lou (Mazeoski) Koch

Mary Lou (Mazeroski) Koch, age 88 of Marion, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on January 16, 1934 in Rushrun, Ohio, to the late Lewis A. and Maime S. (Ogden) Mazeroski.

Mary was a lifelong homemaker and a devout Christian. She enjoyed helping others, and she was known for the encouraging letters she would often pen to people. She was a very giving woman, and she enjoyed a good conversation as well as card games and spending time with her grandkids. She never knew a stranger.

She is survived by her daughters Kathy Clark and Mayme (Vince) Beckel; her sons Rick (Ginger) Roe, Gary Roe, Don (Kelly) Roe, and Mike Roe; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Koch and her parents Lewis and Maime.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery in Marseilles, Ohio.
