Maxine Kay Price

Maxine Kay Price, age 80 of Marion, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Marion General Hospital

Maxine was born on March 2, 1944 to the late Harold and Mildred (Miller) Amos in Marion, Ohio.  On March 11, 1962, she married the late Cellman Price, Jr. in Marion, Ohio.

She was a member of Dayspring Wesleyan Church.  She loved to work in her garden and take care of all her animals.  She loved spending time with her family.  Maxine will be missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cellman Price, Jr.; her daughters: Tammy Arnold, Mary Stark and “Midge” Sparks; her brothers: Martin Amos, Russell Amos, Terry Amos and Howard Amos and her sisters: Wanda Price, Marty Amos and Mary Amos.

Those who will cherish her memories include her sons: Marve Price, Tom Price, Mike (Jessica) Price and Tim Price, all from Marion, Ohio; her brother, Don (Carol) Amos of Marion, Ohio and her sisters: Helen and Susan; her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 starting at 1pm at Marion Cemetery with Pastor Charles Osborne, III officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations to be given toward her funeral expenses in care of the Boyd Funeral Home, 122 West Columbia Street, Marion, Ohio 43302.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Price family.
