Michael Jay Hoffman

Michael Jay Hoffman, age 60 of Marion, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Marion General Hospital.

Mike was born on August 13, 1961, to the late Noble P. and Evelyn A. (Blumenschein) Hoffman in Marion, Ohio.  On June 28, 1999, he married the late Lori Ann Parish in Marion, Ohio.

Mike served our country in the United States Navy from 1981 and 1985 on the U.S.S. Independence. He served in the Naval Reserve until 1987.  Michael served as a Press Coordinator for 33 years at Honda of America.  Mike will be truly missed by family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Lori Hoffman; his brothers: Montey and Lloyd Hoffman and his sisters: Marilyn Knapp and Shirley Shenefield.

Those who will cherish Mike’s memory include his daugters: Tiffany (Aubrey) Willhelm of Marion, Ohio and Brittany Hoffman of Green Camp, Ohio; his brother: Jeff Hoffman of Zanesville, Ohio and his grandsons: Andrew and Carson Willhelm.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Mike at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Friday October 29th, 2021, from 4pm to 10pm for anyone who is wanting to show their respects. Private grave side service will be at a later date. Donations may be given in Mike’s memory to Marion Harding Athletic Booster.
