Michelle Ann Dewitt, 46, of Marion, OH, passed away at the OSU Wexner Medical Center with her loving husband by her side. On June 21st, 1978, she was born to her parents, Randolph Samsel and Coleen Sheets Greenman, in Delaware, OH. Raised with help from step father, Pastor Fred Chaney. On November 1st, 2008, she would marry her biggest supporter, her husband, Cory Scott Dewitt, which made it 16 years through thick and thin.
Michelle met Cory while they both were working at Buffalo Wild Wings. She later went on to work as a supervisor for Tim Horton’s for several years, before working as a supervisor as well at Papa John’s. Michelle was a people person who had a golden heart. She lived for her friends and family. She was a loving wife and a terrific mother. Her kids were her world. She even had a spot in her heart for her cats. After stepping away from work, Michelle would find a new passion for gardening.
Michelle is survived by her parents, Step-father Carl Greenman, husband, Cory Scott Dewitt, children; Chase Palestrant and Savannah Dewitt, brother, Jeremy (Tonya) Samsel, step brothers Vincent, John, Curtis Greenman, aunts; Kathleen (Joe) Howald and Denise (Ed) Savage, numerous nieces and nephews, and her good friend, Renee Shaw.
The Dewitt family would like to invite Michelle’s family and loved ones to join them to celebrate her life at the Boyd Funeral on February 20, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
