Naomi F. White

     Naomi F. White, age 101, of Marion passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 4:15 PM in the Embassy of Marion. She was born on June 12, 1923 in Caininville, Ohio to the late Willard and Effie (Thompson) Darnell. Naomi married Donald E. White in Marion, Ohio on January 30, 1971 and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2007. Naomi is survived by 3 daughters, Joyce Fair of Marion, OH., Nancy Higgins of Marion, OH., & Cheryl Warren of Summerville, S.C., a brother, Elmer Darnell of Marion, OH., a sister, Norma Moore of Marion, OH., 15 grandchildren, and many many great & great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald, a daughter, 2 sons, Thomas D. Lehman & Danny Nelson, a brother, Harold Darnell, and a sister, Luella Dykes.

     Naomi was a 1941 graduate of Marion Harding High School. She became District Manager of the Holly Shops in Marion. A position she held for 20 years before her retirement. A graveside service will be held on Saturday. July 27th, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pastor Shawn Allen Higgins will be officiating. No visiting hours will be observed. Donations may be made to the Salem Church of God in Naomi's name.
