Nellie Watt Obituary

Nellie M. Watt peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Sunday morning July 3rd after a valiant effort fighting lung cancer. Nellie was surrounded by her loving family in her home. Nellie's life was a true testimony for her love of Christ by her actions and deeds. Anyone who knew Nellie would talk about how much she loved her family and friends. Nellie never knew a stranger. Her love radiated wherever she went. She always loved having people to the house and enjoyed many meals, coffee, and conversation. Nellie was the most positive person one would ever meet and even until the end never complained even with her biggest challenge with cancer. She always kept a smile on her face. She loved the simple things in life such as the birds singing, catching a big fish, or just taking a drive up by the lake.
Nellie requested to refrain from adding a picture and wished for you to recall and celebrate her life with treasured memories. Nellie also joked that pictures took away her spirit so we honored her request with joy and laughter.
