Norma Carol Conkle

     Norma Carol Conkle, age 78, of Marion passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 4:30 AM at her residence. She was born in Dickinson County, Virginia on September 6, 1940 to the late William A. & Willie Mae (Steele) Martin. She was also preceded in death by a brother; Jerry Martin and a sister; Ruth Bennett.

     Norma is survived by the love of her life; Jon Gwinner, 4 daughters; Christina Robertson (Brian) of Marion, OH., Cassandra Conkle of Knoxville, TN., Kala Conkle of Marion, OH., & Dawn Simon of Marion, OH., a son; Wade (Barb) Conkle of Marion, OH., several grandchildren including Alexis Robertson, and many great great grandchildren.

     Norma was employed as a time recorder with the Whirlpool Corp. for 20 years before retiring in 1999. She went on to work other part time jobs including helping Joyce’s Angels.

     Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A memorial service will be held following calling hours at 3:00 PM. Pastor Tom Beckel will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
