Norma Jean Ulery

Norma Jean Ulery, age 97 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Legacy of Marion.

Norma was born on June 28, 1926 to the late Frank and Hazel (Demunn) Postell in Marion, Ohio.  ON November 27, 1947, she married the late Robert Ulery in Marion, Ohio.

Norma worked for more than 20 years in the Receiving Department at Sears.  She loved traveling to different places and during her travels she loved to play slot machines.  She enjoyed going to Indian Lake and spending time with her family.  Norma will truly be missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Ulery; her daughter, Brenda Ulery; her sister, Shirley Hill and her brothers: Junior Dale Postell, Thad Postell, Warren Postell, Richard Postell and Phillip Postell.

Those who will cherish her memories include her son, Frank (Colleen) Ulery of Marion, Ohio; her sister-in-law, Pat Postell; her grandchildren: Jacqueline (Bobby Haissler) McKee, Jennifer (Mark) Shoaf, Christina (Sean) Richmond; her great grandchildren: Alexandra (Nate) Kvalheim, Jackson Durham, Megan and Makenna Shoaf and Payton Honaker; her great-great grandchildren: Lucas and Lily Kvalheim and Haisley and Kaiden Elswick; her many nieces and nephews; and her good friends: Mike Banks and Linda Oehler.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 12pm at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.  Donations may be given in her memory to: Tranquility Hospice, 1949 State Route 37 W, Suite C, Delaware, Ohio 43015.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Ulery family.
