Otis Ray Abrams, 61, of Marion passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 2:07 PM in the Marion Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Marion, Ohio on April 6, 1955 to the late Ottis and Lucille (Blevins) Abrams. Otis was employed as a tow motor operator with the J-Lenco Company for 17 years before his retirement in 2002.He is survived by his wife; Phyllis Abrams, two sons; Daniel (Jennifer) Abrams of Marion, OH. & Terry Abrams of San Antonio, TX., two stepsons; James & George Lease both of Marion, OH., a step daughter; Jennifer (Frederick) Blevins of Marion, OH., two sisters; Linda Houk of Marysville, OH. & Sue Abrams of Kansas City, MO., and two grandchildren; Jenna & Daniel Abrams Jr. Otis was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Gene Abrams and a sister; Bonnie Williams. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held in the Liberty Baptist Church, 921 Woodrow Ave., Marion, Oh. on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 5:00 PM. Pastor Chris Braye will conduct the service and burial will take place at a later date. Contributions in Otis's name may be made to the James Cancer Research Center.
