Pamela Jean Richison

Pamela Jean Richison, born January 24, 1951 passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021 in Lakeland, Florida. She was a beloved daughter, sister and friend of many.  Born in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Herman L. Richison and Ruthe J. Richison, both now deceased, she is survived by her sister Patricia L. Hughes and brother-in-law James W. Hughes, II of Lakeland, Florida.  Pamela earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colorado State University in 1974 majoring in Humanities. While at CSU she was inducted into the Kappa Delta Sorority and became a lifetime member. She loved to travel and spend time with friends and had traveled from Europe to Hawaii over the years.  She worked for Chase Bank for many years while living in San Ramon, California before moving to Lewis Center, Ohio to be near family. She then relocated to Lakeland when her sister and brother-in-law moved there and worked for Service Master for approximately 9 years. She loved to cook, garden and care for her pet cat Frankie. She will be remembered by those who knew her and loved her as the most kind and generous sister and friend.  Viewing and services will be held at Boyd Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio on December 1, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A burial service will follow at Marion Cemetery where she will be laid to rest in the Richison/Hughes family gravesite.
