Patricia Ann George

Patricia Ann George, age 91, of Marion, passed away at her daughter's home on June 19, 2025. Patricia was born to the late George Daniel and Edna Fern (Price) Easterday on December 8, 1933, in LaRue, Ohio. On May 12, 1951, Patricia married the love of her life Norman George and the two were married until his passing on April 18, 1987.

Patricia was known for her feistiness and love of her family. She was the true definition of a homemaker and loved to cook. Of all the wonderful dishes Patricia prepared, she received the most compliments for her potato salad. Her love for cooking came from her desire to see people happy.

Left to cherish the memory of Patricia is her daughter, Brenda (Harold E.) Hesson, grandchildren, Melissa Rene Akers, of Caledonia, Douglas Hesson, of Marion, Craig (Kim) Hesson, of Gatlin, TN., and Chad A. (Jean) George, of Dublin, great grandchildren, Codi (Taylor) Chapman, of Marion, Emily (Ben) Kibler, of LaRue, Garrett (Jalaya) Hesson, of WCH, Eric Hesson, of New Bloomington, Kory Akers, of Marion, Karci Akers, of Marion, Presley Hesson, of Gallatin, TN., and Daniel George, of Dublin, great-great grandchildren, Colsen Chapman, Ryer Kibbler, Hudson Chapman, Jayce Hesson, Wyatt Kibler, Addilyn Kibler, Jaydelyn Hesson, and Gracelynn Chapman, and her fury four legged companion Mr. T.

Patrcia was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Monroe George.

Friends and Family are invited to the Graveside service of Patricia at the Marion Cemetery on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 1 p.m. Pastor Joe Harrison will be officiating the graveside. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Patricia Ann George in their time of mourning.
