Patricia Ann (Bollinger) Leibengood

Patricia Ann (Bollinger) Leibengood, age 79, of Crestline, Ohio, and formerly of Marion, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Patricia was born on June 26, 1945, to the late James D. Sr. and Rosetta (Wood) Bollinger. She graduated from Ridgedale High School, Class of 1963, and began her work career shortly after. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years, demonstrating dedication and care in her work. A passionate sports fan, Patricia loved cheering on her favorite Ohio teams, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. Whether it was football, basketball, or baseball, she was always rooting for her Buckeyes. She also followed the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Guardians, and recently became a Columbus Blue Jackets fan. Above all, Patricia cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching movies with them, with 'The Sound of Music' being a favorite. One of her most beloved traditions was taking her grandchildren to the Stewarts Root Beer Stand on Sundays after church.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel L. Leibengood, her brothers: Melvin, Richard, James Jr., and Vernon Bollinger, and sisters Evelyn Seabrook and Donna Kraner. She was also preceded in death by multiple brothers and sisters-in-law and her son-in-law, Blake Lyons.

She is survived by her daughters, Victoria Forry Lyons, Rebecca Forry Borders, and Melissa Forry Lawson; grandchildren, Joshua (Tiffany) Borders, Peyton (Jena) Borders, Mitchel (Hannah) Lyons, Rachel (Kirk) Breithaupt, Madison Lawson, Courtney Lawson; six great-grandchildren; brother, Dean Bollinger; close friend, Connie Orewiler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation for Patricia on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held the following morning, Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Kegley officiating. A committal service will immediately follow at Grand Prairie (Brush Ridge) Cemetery.
