Patricia Ann Pickens

     Patricia Ann Pickens, age 81, of Marion went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 2:05 PM   from the Marion General Hospital. Patricia was born in Marion, Ohio to the late Riley G. and Freda (Richey) Middleton on January 23, 1941.  She married Curtis Pickens on November 22, 1955 in Lima, Ohio and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1994 in Marion.  Patricia was employed over 10 years at Tuscarora Plastics of Ohio before her retirement.

     She is survived by a son, Darrell (Lynn) Middleton of Orchard Lake, MI., 5 daughters, Christina Pickens, Martis Bracy, Luetta Pickens, & Ellen Pickens all of Marion, OH. and Clarissa (Ronald) Crowder of Delaware, OH., a sister, Saundra “Dianna” Pickens of Marion, OH., 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Curtis, a daughter, Marcella Wilson, a grandson, Marlon Pickens, 3 brothers, James Rodney, Clarence Wilbur, & George Riley Middleton, and 5 sisters, Juanita Jackson, Phyllis Finch, Sharon Lomax, Luetta Keith, & Genevieve Collins.

     Friends and family may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Elder Tyrone Kaiser will conduct the funeral service on Saturday, June 18th, at 10:00 AM in the King’s Temple Apostolic Church with burial to follow in the Marion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in Pat’s name may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or to the Women’s Missionary Fund of King’s Temple Apostolic Church.
