Patricia Ann Plantz

Patricia Ann Plantz, age 77 of Marion, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 19, 2023. She was born on September 28, 1945 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to the late Arthur L. and Annie (Erwin) Plantz.

Patricia was a graduate of Pleasant High School before going to work for the Marion Power Shovel and later retiring from Ohio Edison. As her relationship with Christ was very important to her, she was a faithful member of Eastside Mission Church in Delaware. Her hobbies included bowling and golf.

She is survived by her siblings Arthur (Dena) Plantz, Howard (Marjorie) Plantz, Shirley Dietsch, and Sharon Plantz; her nieces and nephews Tracy Snare, Aaron Snare, Laura Blevins, Bryan Snare, Jayson Plantz, Julie Hedrick, David Plantz, and Josh Dietsch; and her aunt Dary Blankenship.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Annie Plantz, her sister Barbara Snare, and her brothers-in-law Arthur Snare and Michael Dietsch.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place at 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Donnie Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery.
